October 30th, 2013 All Hallows Eve! This is the day that began Halloween originally. Each year families would invite others to join in a dinner in memory of those who had passed over during the year. Pumpkins were carved to light the pathway for the guests, scary faces to scare away the evil spirits and happy faces to welcome those invited and positive spirits. This is really how Halloween began and originally it was a day to reflect upon those who had passed on that year. Below you will see my posts for three of my favorites who have passed away. Jim Henson of The Muppets. Walt Disney of his fantasy and creations for the child in all of us. And Dr. Seuss. Tomorrow for Halloween I will feature another favorite, Charles M. Schulz with his Peanuts Gang. Charles Schulz died February 14th, 2000. I came to Scottsdale, Arizona because of my doctor, Dr. Frank Uhlmann who I use to call, My Charlie Brown. Charlie Brown of the Peanuts Gang by Charles M. Schulz. Dr. Uhlmann passed away in 2008. Also my friend Baldo Baldassini passed away and into the spirit world in 2011. Both did not think I should have been in Newark, Delaware, where I was robbed and cheated. I should have listened to them. They both loved and cared about me. So many I have lost. Miss my family members too, but really, as things turned out, they needed to protect me as I had protected them. Peace! Pam. All Hallows Eve!
