October 31 1868-2014 slo mo video part 2 Still the number one question asked of our staff, Is the Hotel Haunted? The Holy Spirit reigns here, but we do believe in Demons and Angels, and occasionally see odd things in and around the hotel. Most oddities can be attributed to dust particles on the camera lens. Some, not so much. Recently installed at the Historic White House, are 26 cameras, running 24 hours a day. They pick up odd things, and here are some that we will share with you. The hotel hosted The Haunted Lightship a few years back, and it was a monster mash success. The staff recreated known suicides and murders that took place in the hotel through out its history. This event was however, closed after some trouble on the tour, that caused some guests to run away and out of the building in fear. This necessitated a halt to the event, and a re visiting of our Insurance riders. Perhaps 2014 will bring a re-visit. Although October is a ways away, Heres to the Haunted Lightship... The Historic White House Hotel Where history checked in... and sometimes never checked out The White House is closed for the 2014 summer season for restoration.
