October 5, 1969 - Monty Pythons Flying Circus debuted on BBC television. It was a great TV program, and of course led to movies like Monty Python and the Holy Grail , and The Life of Brian . I remember watching it many years ago. It was not on the man networks, maybe PBS, and kind of an underground cult thing. Loved them though... the world needs more mad men like them.
