October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month—an opportunity to remember those we’ve lost to this disease and stand with the 2.5 million survivors across the United States. In 2014, an estimated 300,000 Americans will be diagnosed with a form of breast cancer. While we’ve made significant strides in developing new methods to combat this illness, there is still much more work to be done. This month, Americans must come together to redouble our commitment to fighting back against breast cancer and supporting those among us who suffer from this terrible disease.
