October is hurtling towards us or rather we are hurtling towards October....whichever....October of course is Pickering War Weekend, so may I remind you, if you havent got your tickets booked for whichever dances you intend on going to, they are selling quite fast now. On Saturday the 11th October, I shall be singing at The Recreation Club, Mill Lane in Pickering, for their SATURDAY NIGHT PALAIS, with The 1940s RADIO ROADSHOW, playing all that fabulous music of the era. Tickets for this dance, are from the Pickering Tourist Information Office & are £15, as there is food too. Onsite Bar On Sunday the 12th October, I shall again be at The Recreation Club, for the Farewell Til Next Year Dance, accompanied by the Spiffing Major Swing & Kitty. Tickets for this dance are £10 each & available only from :- ektimeless@gmail The last posting date for the Sunday night tickets, is the 1st October. N:B Both above dance nights, are ticket holders only. I shall be in Pickering by the 9th October & its me that posts the tickets out ! After the 1st October, if we are not sold out, then you will have to wait till you get to Pickering & buy tickets direct from me. On Friday night, the 10th October, I shall be in my usual place, The Conservative Club, singing for the Welcome to Pickering War Weekend night, this is free admission, gets absolutely rammed in there, so if you want a seat, you need to get in early, I start singing apprx, 8pm. Weather permitting, I shall be singing on the balcony of the Conservative Club, Saturday 11th Oct, at lunchtime, as soon as I have set up, after the parade & again, Sunday lunchtime, apprx, 1.30pm ish.
