October was quite the trying month. We lost a lot. Due to health reasons we had to leave our house; And in the process situation after situation seemed to plague my family. It looked hopeless in many aspects but in the process through many tears; I have learned to depend on God. To rely on him. To trust in him. To cry out to him; In a way Id never had to before. But I see how HE has been molding me and shaping me in the process. Teaching me about patience and trust and dependence and faith. How to be still and know He is God. How to believe him and his Word. At my lowest point; when I was seemingly stripped of everything but our very lives; my sweet 8 year old daughter reminded me, mommy, remember the story of Job? The devil was allowed to take everything except their lives, and he never turned his back on God. She said, I imagine God told the devil, consider my servants here. They will not turn their backs on me. And we havent. We cant. That beautiful reminder kept me trusting in the God I serve. And He is rolling back the veil. He is answering prayers. He is faithful. And I love Him more than ever!!! Must head to sleep now; heading to sign papers on my NEW home first thing in the morning and busy days of packing and moving await me this week. I cannot complain. God is good. Thankful for the prayers and support of amazing pastors and my church family. I dont know what I would have done without you!!
