Of Mice and Men is one of my favorite novels. The National Theatre London started an amazing program called NT Live where they broadcast encore stage performances on movie theater screens across the world. I love the idea of democratizing culture to expose / provide access of soul enriching experiences to everyone. We live in such a fast-paced and technology centric environment that sometimes we need to recalibrate our sense of humanity by immersing in, and reflecting through, the humanities. Last year I saw Frankenstein, starring Benedict Cumberbatch + Jonny Lee Miller, through NT Live and it was outstanding. On Monday night, the Kabuki will be screening the stage production of Of Mice and Men starring James Franco + Chris ODowd; Ill be attending. Tickets are $22.00.
