Of all the things Team Strongsville has done in our community, tonight goes down as one of the best!! Thank you to the 34 Strongsville High School students from the boys & girls basketball programs, JV & varsity basketball cheerleaders, student council members, and the 23 preschoolers and their families from the Strongsville Co-Op Preschool for participating in our TS Caring & Sharing Give Back for the Strongsville Emergency Food Bank! With the money raised from our Goods at the Gazebo event in October, these almost 60 kids shopped at Target in Strongsville for 215 Strongsville families. Students were divided into 10 groups, teens & preschoolers working together, and each group had $50 to spend. TS has posted many pictures tonight to highlight this wonderful evening! We are sending out a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated tonight; preschoolers and their families, SHS students, coaches, and advisers. Thank you also to The Strongsville Browns Backers for their extremely generous donation of 25, $25 gift cards for the food bank; to Target of Strongsville & Mike Klinzing and Head Start Basketball for their generous donations for our shopping trip tonight; and to Target for giving all of our big & little kids popcorn and a drink after a busy night of shopping! Its through the generosity of everyone involved that we are able to accomplish such great things in our community. THANK YOU!! TS
