Of course there is a reason to fear young children learning about other faiths. Think about it. When all Muslim children see and learn about their own faith is that punishment and acts of punishment as the norm and equate Islamic people with being angry and/or fearful, the teachings of Buddha or Christ seem far more appealing to a young mind than hearing about say how one will earn Allah’s wrath and burn in hell for dancing. The fault of course is not in Islam the faith, or other faiths. Islam or more accurately Islam du jour, has been taken over by the more aggressive and intolerant subset of practicing Muslims. Religion has replaced faith as religion can be regulated, monitored and supervised. So it’s no surprise that those who own (yes own) the religion of Islam protect their asset by any means necessary.
