Of coz, there is no one perfect policy that fits everyone.... cant please everyone. Valid point. I always use this example. Even in a family or at work, you dont find all people agree to something. Try ask for a place for lunch, some different different answers coming out. Queue at a food stall and you will find some want this some want others, some want extra chili some dont want some other things, and so on. If all can think the same, then you should only have 1 brand of car, 1 brand of shampoo, 1 brand of meal, 1 brand of school, and thousands and one other examples. The biggest challenge and difficulty to be a government is they have to balance the want and the dont want. It is not like some of them into politics commenting on policies why not cover this why not cover that. Are they saying they can do a better job? Lets not kid ourselves. Why it is easy to comment, because we individuals are only looking a small part of the big policy. Do we really what some others want? Dont assume. The magnitude of expectations of the whole country is huge, 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000 times more than what we can imagine. If it is so easy to be a good government, the world will have many countries like Singapore.
