Of the 42 seats, 7 seats are to people related to the Bengali film industry. If they can win votes, I see no harm. Anyway it is the high command which will be running the show. No one speaks of a Sugata Bose, Bijoy Bhushan Barman who are doctorates and famous in their circuits. No one speaks of Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar - who has shown excellent record of governance. No one speaks about the number of women politicians introduced in the candidature. If you require to speak about Dev - Here is my take: If he can win votes, so be it. If he can inspire the youth of the region to join active politics and administration to maintain peace in the region, so be it. I do not mind one actor fighting elections if he is capable. And this I say, without any kind of official link to TMC. --- The worse part is - when students of reputed schools, supposedly good debaters join the choir ridiculing their own state government. Where is their piece of brain. Have the youth today or the first time voters today have completely fallen prey to spread ignorance. Can they not think by their own brains? This is alarming. Intelligence should not be fathomed by the percentage marks scored. It is a very sad state of affairs today.
