Of the many things that we do at Southeastern Reptile Rescue, our public educational events are one of our favorites. Today, we wrapped up our 2014 season at The Rock Ranch. After 11 months of traveling through multiple states, we were able to present our message of Preserving Nature One Snake at a Time to over 100,000 people. After todays event, we celebrated with our awesome volunteers around a bonfire with hot dogs, smores, homemade apple cider and hot chocolate and even snake cookies and snake cupcakes. We celebrated birthdays and Kody, one of our volunteers, received new snakes as presents from his parents. Thank you to our volunteers who are truly part of our family Keith, Kody, Michelle, Jim, Susan, Sarah, Ted, Donna, Hannah, Christine, Abby, Jane, Sarah, Audrey, Lily, Carman and Braxton. The daily behind the scenes work continues and were still here for the rest of you 24/7. (-: ~Jason Clark
