Off to Honduras for a mission trip this morning. I wont be able to post a devotion until 09/18, Lord willing. Please keep us in your prayers. We are going to a country that is being swept by the grace of God and people there are turning to God. Im leaving a country where God is being swept under the carpet. Continue to pray for our country and leaders. Ill be in Honduras during 09/11 and ponder if I will have a country to come back to.. Love you all and thanks for the daily well wishes and prayers. Romans 5:8 DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Grace is the most beautiful word in the Bible other than Jesus. Grace is why God loves us when there is nothing lovely about us. We are not loved because we are valuable. We are valuable because we are loved. 1 John 4:10 says, Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. That, friend, is Gods amazing grace. We are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. I love Him for His grace. It is all Jesus. Its not the church. Its not good deeds. Amazing grace is in the Lord Jesus Christ. He loves you. He died for you. ACTION POINT: Thank God for the justification you have through Jesus Christ. Thank God for the grace He has abundantly given you.
