Off to Iligan happy trip to me! This is my 1 month Itinerary Diary. That way, you eavesdrop on my thoughts. Through this diary, I’ll take you with me as we zoom all over the Philippines—visiting Cebu, Davao, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Ormoc Leyte, Maasin Leyte, Biliran Province and Tacloban Leyter. My next itinerary is in Bohol, Dumaguete, Negros Occidental and somewhere north of Luzon. This trip is a special for me. Because I’m bringing nothing except my 3 huge luggage’s. When I was in high school and college, I used to travel with a tiny hand-carry bag and nothing else. But in this trip, I drag behind me a backpack filled with 1 computer lap top and some gadgets like Cellular phone and IPod. 1 duffle bag filled with office documents. Oh, and 1 very big stroller too I always pay for excess luggage. Many times, I feel like I was a walking Christmas tree. Okay, here’s my first entry. Buckle your seatbelts, enjoy the ride, and be very blessed… I’ve learned to smile and trust when things don’t go my way. There was a scenario, after taking off from Cebu to Davao, our plane was supposed to land at 1 hour and a haft. We were not even supposed to deplane but just wait for an hour the plane circled above the Davao airport for more than 1 hour! Many of us were imagining the worst scenarios. Were we being hijacked? Was there a bomb on the plane that the airport wasn’t accepting us? Finally, after 1 and haft hour of getting dizzy, the pilot announced that there was so much fog, he couldn’t land. It was a huge interruption. I thank God I was travelling with huge numbers of passengers, more than 200 hundred passengers. If they were 200 passengers, I would have heard 200 grumblers. But gosh, I didn’t even hear one complaint. Instead, I saw each of them choosing to see the delay as God’s invitation for them to rest, to enjoy, to listen, to pray, to sleep. This time, we landed safely. Friends, all of us experience interruptions in our lives. And when interruptions come, we have two choices: We can either complain at this terrible intrusion to our schedule or we can see them as a precious gift from God a surprise so special, it will bless us in a way we can’t understand. When a delay comes into your life, always ask yourself: How can I be blessed by this interruption? Life is too short to complain. GOD bless for my more trips....
