Off to Tipperary this afternoon where Ive declared three to run. My dilemma however is the ground or more accurately the Irish weather! If the ground is as we declared on,Good to Firm, then it will be perfect for Some Spirit in the Gr3 Concorde Stakes. But if the rain that was forecasted has done its damage then it will suit Brendan Brackan. However a third scenario is that it leaves it as just Good then I will run both and let the best man win! I dont really want to run two in the race but as its a Gr 3 then as many darts as possible is better than none at all! Brendan is a rock solid Gr3 miler and he would appreciate a bit of juice on this sharp track.While Some Spirit loves to hear her hooves rattle and has plenty of speed. Vector Force is a lovely no fuss Kodiac gelding that seems to just do what it says on the tin! This looks a very competitive handicap but maybe his lack of runs this year will stand to him today. His high draw is not ideal but hopefully he can overcome that and be involved in the prizemoney. He wouldnt want a soft surface but hes ready to run his race. HGD
