Off work now until the 5th, my lad is in bed fast asleep and our bags are packed. Alison and the guys arrive in the morning and then were off to the cottage for an amazing week and probably no Internet connection. Early 2013 was (had I stayed in) when I would have been told I was no longer wanted and retired from the army. It was the year I was told I was no longer wanted by the administrators when the company I worked for went into administration and a year ago tomorrow is when I was told I was no longer wanted by my wife...its been a tough year, but 2014 has been the year Ive picked myself up and rebuilt myself...its the year I found some amazing people to work with who respect and value me for me, they treat people the right way. My path has crossed some interesting characters who have shown me there is nothing wrong with me and I am wanted. Ive learnt I have amazing friends and family that I can rely on and I need to cherish. Tomorrow is the birthday of an amazing woman that I want to get to know more and more each day. But most of all Monty has flourished and I burst with pride with him every day. 2014 has turned into a good year. Thanks to those that have contributed. I wish those that need it God speed and I hope we continue our journey in 2015. Take care and remember everyone is loved and of value.
