OffTheChainNews With Pastor Leo Jr. NowYouKnow [ It Will get darker! ] Flight to Tampa delayed over sick passenger - FOX 13 News Posted: Oct 17, 2014 TAMPA (FOX 13) - A U.S Airways flight from Charlotte to Tampa was stuck on the tarmac for hours and was under quarantine, a spokesperson for American Airlines said Friday night. U.S. Airways flight 1829 was scheduled to leave Charlotte at 5:50 p.m. according to American Airlines spokesperson Kent Powell. Powell said the situation began as the flight was boarding the plane just after 5 p.m.; thats when a female passenger became ill and vomited on the plane. She then reportedly went into the bathroom and would not come out. Crew members attended to the woman and called paramedics. When the passenger came out of the bathroom, crews took her to the hospital, the spokesperson said. Passenger C.J. Johnson said he and other passengers waited for about two hours before being transferred to another plane. Powell said the airline had to secure a new plane and a new crew before the flight could leave Charlotte. The North Carolina Health Department issued the following statement regarding the incident: On Friday, October 17, 2014 at Charlotte Douglas International Airport a passenger on a domestic US Airways flight arrived late this afternoon with a fever of approximately 100 degrees complaining of nausea and chills… since the passenger did not meet case definition, and no travel from West Africa was involved, the North Carolina State Health Department confirms that this was not Ebola. The plane landed in Tampa just after 10 p.m
