Offense if a choice. Forgiveness if also a choice. When you make - TopicsExpress

Offense if a choice. Forgiveness if also a choice. When you make a choice to allow offense to take root, moving towards forgiveness is so much harder. There is NO freedom in living a life full of offense, wounds, and unforgiveness. The people that you were offended by have gone on with live fully and most likely have totally forgotten whatever incident took place... The offended one...they become the prisoner... Immersed wholly in the depths of bitterness and control. Know this God did not send his only begotten son, To suffer, and die on the cross for some to receive forgiveness.. He came so that ALL might be forgiven. Be wise to the devices of the enemy, and to the deception hurts can bring into your lives. If you say you Love God..you cant despise people. The first and second chapters of 1st John make it abundantly clear to us that none of are without sin...and that we have to forgive others. It also states that we cant hate a fellow believer and walk in the light. Hate blinds us to the light. Please, if your heart has hardened to others and you find yourself always seeing the shortcomings of others...this is a great indicator that your heart is not right with your Father. Is there anything or anyone worth that! Worth causing you to be separated from the light? Forgiveness is not a feeling..it is a choice. You make the decision to forgive someone and by doing so..you release your offense to the Father so that he can heal your heart. It frees you to let go and move forward. Freedom and liberty were bought by the blood of Jesus Dont take that lightly Take hold if your freedom and release your offense and hurt in the choice of forgiveness.
