Office Manager AgeCare - Sunrise Gardens - Brooks, AB Reporting to the General Manager, the Office Manager leads the administration team of the site office and is responsible for ensuring that the department meets regulatory and organizational compliance through its accounting and financial account abilities. The position is an integral part of the site’s leadership team and works closely with the General Manager and Director of Care in order to strategically plan, execute and oversee the operation of the site. Key Responsibilities: Overall management of direct-report administration staff through recruitment, performance management, training/development and delegation of work assignments Collaborates with, assists and acts on behalf of the General Manager, when required, in order to support the operation of the site Responsible for the overall accounting functions related to resident trusts, billings, deposits, petty cash management, etc. Responsible for invoicing/billing and reconciliations of day-to-day operations In collaboration with the General Manager, oversees the entire inventory management of site-wide nursing supplies, incontinence products and office supplies Responsible for by-weekly payroll authorization and compliance of company and legal requirements In collaboration with the General Manager, Director of Care and Human Resources, ensure site-wide scheduling is done in accordance with operational and regulatory requirements In collaboration with the General Manager, Director of Care and Human Resources, is responsible to ensure employee documentation, performance management, and employment practices are compliant with company and legal requirements Coordinate the admission/discharge process for all residents in collaboration with the Director of Care, Alberta Health Services and other site departments Facilitate, coordinate and/or carry out site tours/visits Key Competencies/Qualifications: Office administration diploma 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role coupled with direct supervisory leadership Experience managing within a unionized environment considered an asset Proficiency with Point Click Care and Microsoft Office Suite Excellent organization and time-management skills Professional, courteous and customer service focused attitude Good communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others Ability to multitask and juggle various priorities at one time Apply now: ca.indeed/cmp/AgeCare-Communities-of-Care-and-Wellness/jobs/Office-Manager-9f9975ff66ee4841
