Office Supervisor Our client has an immediate need for a full-time Office Supervisor to work at their North York Office. Requirements: Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant post-secondary education is preferred Exposure in administrative or clerical roles within the mortgage industry is an advantage but not mandatory Minimum of three (3) years office supervisory or team leader experience Must have some accounting knowledge or background with strong business sense and passion to generate revenues Keen in delegating jobs and giving proper instructions Ability to take charge and assist in leading varied departments/units Highly efficient in using MS Office Suite such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Excellent record of attendance from previous employment; extremely punctual Exceptional English and communication capabilities, both oral and written Mature individual with sound work ethic, positive attitude and very flexible Team player with pleasant phone demeanour, welcoming personality and superior customer service skills Typing speed of at least 40+ WPM Results-driven, hardworking, energetic and capable of executing multiple tasks given tight deadlines Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Supervise the entire office operations, including staff and their activities Review and process each orders according to customer requirements Delegate/Assign tasks to appropriate employee for processing; confirm progress and ensure timely completion Ensure all jobs are accurate and accomplished with utmost quality prior to the expected deadline Categorize job orders by proper sorting and filing Collect and handle payments in cash, cheque and credit cards; compute total and prepare bank deposits at the end of the day Make certain team members are recording all account transactions on the Statement of Account (SOA) Responsible for collecting monthly receivables and submitting to the accounting department Monitor and track on time mailing of invoices to clients Maintain an organize manual and computerized filing and recording system Respond to inquiries on resume, transcription and word processing services; handle resume consultations Evaluate and approve staffing requests with recruitment staff Ensure all jobs and reports are proofread, accurate and accomplished prior to the expected deadline and before submitting to clients Visit sites and discuss manpower orders Assist in magazine and staffing appointments with existing or prospecting clients Check and record employees attendance Guarantee availability of stationeries and other supplies through constant follow up with the person-in-charge Plan and spearhead company-wide social events and gatherings Act as key custodian; responsible for opening and closing the office door Supervise the day-to-day functions of staff and office Carry out other related duties as required Salary: TBD Please forward your resume and cover letter to: [email protected]
