Officer Liu was a Buddhist so this was all some sort of ceremony that all have decided to call a funeral. All politics should have been left at the door. I know a few Buddhists and they are probably much closer being Christ like than almost any Christians I know. Its all so sad that politics predominated not only his death but then carried on to the funeral ceremony that was for the benefit of the police and city officials. What a great family to tolerate such stupidity even while they were grieving. If you ever get the opportunity, go see an actual Buddhist funeral. I will make the assumption he was a Chinese Buddhist and the actual funeral ceremony is as long as 49 days with 100 days of prayer. All this for the benefit for the police and politicians and a sham was made of it...Bless the family and the fallen officer. SHAME on all the things politics dirties and belittles.
