Officers accused of beating disabled voter In a case, a Attorney filed a petition with the Public Prosecutor Judge Dherar Al-Asousi against two officers of ranks ‘Lt Colonel’ and ‘Second Lt’ for allegedly beating a handicapped individual severely. According to the case files, the plaintiff was voting in the elections of Andalous Cooperative Society in Andalous area when the defendants attacked and humiliated him even though he did not commit any mistakes. The lawyer went on to say that the defendants submitted a complaint against his client accusing him of attacking them, stressing that they were the ones who humiliated and insulted his client for coming to the elections to vote even though he was handicapped.
