Official 2015 China Foreign Teacher Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications: As we just yesterday confirmed with SAFEA HQ office in Beijing and Chinas Ministry of Education (Press Office) the below are the ONLY mandatory requirements for expat ESL, TEFL, AP Teachers and professors to LEGALLY work in China in 2015... * Bachelor degree in any major * Valid passport with a Z visa * 2 years previous teaching experience * English fluency * Ages 21-60 * Police certificate for Beijing (coming soon to Shanghai also) Please note that these are the exact same requirements as 2013 and 2014 so dont let any job agent or TEFL sales rep confuse you. Find yourself a university that offers classroom TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA training that offers interactive live classroom dialogue and role play, if you decide you want this optional training. It will look good on your resume and help you confidence in the classroom when teaching.
