Officially, DHL Bahraini Trade Union is a member of the International Transport Workers Union – Transport TUI , and a Thoroughbred Member in the International Transport Workers Congress for the new period 2014-2018. A delegation from DHL Bahraini Trade Union headed by Mohamed Al Ammadi , President , and the board member Fahad Mohamed Albinghadeer , Secretary, attended the TUI 13th Conference which was held from 5th to 7th of September 2014 , in Chile, Santiago, and which was held under the auspices of World Federations of Trade Unions (WFTU) with the participation of 24 countries. The name of Kingdom of Bahrain was officially approved to be a member in the International Transport Workers Union – Transport TUI after 22 countries voting for Bahrian and one country abstained from voting. Moreover, the DHL Bahraini Trade Union has got a permanent seat in the International Transport Workers Congress after fought congressional elections which were the fierce competition between 24 countries over 15 permanent seats. The DHL Bahraini Trade Union delegation successfully gained the trust of a lot of countries in favor of Bahrain, hence, the Secretary, Fahad Mohamed Albinghadeer , will be the representative for this seat. Congratulations to all DHL Bahraini Trade Union members on this historic achievement which will raise the name of the union up among the oldest and the most powerful unions in the International Transport Workers Union – Transport TUI sector internationally. We, the Board of DHL Bahraini Trade Union, are very proud to be in this presence in this fine and ancient Union TUI , and we are looking forward to be an active union which has influence in decision-making and to be trust worthy of all our union friends. It is also worth mentioning, that World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) supports the Palestinian case and supports the independence of the State of Palestine and its capital Jerusalem, condemning the Zionist occupation in its all forms of barbaric activities and campaigns and fully supports the Palestine workers and all their related issues. In addition, World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU) does not include and accept any membership from any unions affiliated to the Israeli Histadrut trade unions that are affiliated to the Zionist entity as the International Trade Unions Confederation (ITUC) does and whom already have memberships includes Zionist Histadrut . Once again, thousands of congratulations to DHL Bahraini Trade Union and its members on this achievement which hope to be a supportive for our union movement to achieve and grab our rights and our demands.
