Officially free. He was very nervous. The music in the car freaked him a little (dont worry I had the volume on low) but he was very curious about my singing. Not sure if he liked it bahaha he sat up the whole way down 35. Which btw Bridget doesnt live so far from me. I can visit a lot!!! We talked about how this was the start of his new life. I told him it would suck a little at first because hell be crated simply because of his size and the rest he needs. But once he gets some meat on those bones hell be ready to play with his foster brother. His foster sister is gentle so he can hang out with her in the mean time. Lets see...I told him everything would be ok from now on. I told him I would love him forever and will try my best to see him as often as I can. It seems as though he attached himself to me because he was a little protective of me when we met his foster siblings. (Go figure Id get another puppy to become protective of me...) hes going to do well with Bridget yall. I already know it. Hes so happy. I saw his tail wag for the first time. And not just a little bit. But that uncontrollable pittie tail wag that goes all over the place. Ill miss seeing him every single day but trust me Ill be seeing him as much as I can. Im going to be helping Bridget do some training with him which should be so much fun!! But for now our Charlie boy will rest and gather his strength and put some much needed weight on. I want to thank everyone. Without yall this would not have been possible. Everyone who donated, talked about him, shared his story, prayed for him, sent him positive thoughts and energy. It just wouldnt have been possible without yall. Nikki thank you for coming to the rescue. I knew you would be the only person to come to HIS rescue the moment max called you. I knew (because of how grizzly became yours) you would, with an open heart, take this baby and do what needed to be done. youre amazing and I wouldnt want anyone else by my side rescuing puppies. I love already told you I dont want this to ever happen again but if it does, youre the first person Im calling. Thank you. Bridget we had never met before this but had already talked so much about our boys on Instagram. And you came in saving the day when we needed it the most. You got in contact with ACPBRR and made it possible for us to get this baby somewhere we knew he would be safe. You have so graciously opened your home to sweet baby Charlie and I could not thank you enough. You guys will do great and those babies of yours will have a seriously hard time saying good bye when the time comes. But lets not even think about that yet. Alamo City Pit Bull Rescue and Rehabilitation I am forever grateful to you guys. Yall have saved this boy from going into the wrong hands. Yall are amazing and I hope that I get to work with yall again on better terms (hopefully not a parvo puppy). What yall do is amazing. Yall save the lives of the most misunderstood breed and I cant thank you enough for that. Having two of my own I know how hard it is and how ugly it can get. Yall are angels. As I sit at home tonight, writing this and crying (because Im a baby) I want everyone to know I appreciate everything yall did. It means the absolute world to me. Honestly, yall will never undertand how much this all meant to me. I have one serious love for pit bulls and this little ones life was saved. And theres no way it could have been done without each and every single one of yall. Goodnight yall. ❤️
