Since some of you were asking what has changed in my 2nd year.... heres a list: KITCHEN: Painted all cabinets white Added knobs to cabinets Complete subway tile backsplash Installed pot rack in bay window Painted bay window/around windows DINING ROOM (OFFICE) 6 foot desk replaced by 8 foot desk to fill gap (now work as L desk with other 6 foot desk) Mount Vernon Computer Repair Banner printed and mounted above shelf (6 feet long) Repaired drywall hole in corner of ceiling LIVING ROOM New sectional couch and massaging recliner New TV stand with storage Redskins wall (i.e. the wall of failure) completed Bookshelf added in corner Black curtains replaced with white blinds Window frames painted white New light installed on hallway side of room Various wall decorations added/removed UPSTAIRS Wallpaper removed, painted hall bathroom green New faucet/sink/vanity, mirror, towel/toilet paper holders in hall bathroom Painted upstairs hallway tan (same as middle level hallway) Re-caulked entire shower DOWNSTAIRS Painted all wood paneling in hallway and bedroom blue-gray Painted drywall in room dark blue Painted all brown doors and trim white Mounted TV and cable boxes onto wall Removed old trim around the floor and installed 3 white trim in entire downstairs New bookcase Painted hallway and stairwell tan (to match other hallways) Various wall decorations (including Nuka Cola posters in hallway) New hooks in bathroom Repaired gap between tile and threshold in bathroom Removed black curtains, replaced with white blinds OUTSIDE Entire front of house painted red, light grey, and white Sinking step fixed and leveled out with new concrete Front outlet fixed Handrail repainted black Entire deck painted light grey New umbrella for deck (RIP umbrella, was lost during thunderstorm) New porch light for deck 2014 & 2015 GOALS New windows in entire house Tile upstairs hallway and hall bathroom, shower Paint and tile master bathroom Dark, granite countertops in kitchen Tile kitchen floor Hardwood throughout rest of the middle floor
