Often as we go through life we face bumps in the road, someone hurts us, makes us feel inferior, unwanted or unloved, and from that moment on we are never the same. This may be the reason why so many of us chase after success, because we are trying to prove wrong those people who made us feel worthless. We get so caught up in chasing after success that it becomes and idol. it becomes something we revolve our life around, and if we dont reach it, then we began to believe the lies those people told us when they said we would never amount to anything. But we eventually have to come to a place where enough is enough. we must forgive those people for hurting us. now that doesnt mean bringing them back into your life or even having any contact with them, but what im saying is, stop allowing them to live in our heads, rent free! Because if we dont forgive and move on the from that hurt or offense, then we will forever be a slave to trying to prove them wrong all our lives. and then we bear these huge burdens on our backs because we are so consumed and concerned with trying to please the world, that we forget about living to please the one who is already pleased with us, and that person is GOD. Once you come to a place where you stop trying to prove the world wrong and teach them a lesson that is where you can find rest. you can rest assured knowing the oppinions of this world are worthless, and the only oppinion that matters is the one that belongs to the Man up above. #SetFree ~Maryah
