Often its the loud, proud, lost revelers in sin who get the most - TopicsExpress

Often its the loud, proud, lost revelers in sin who get the most attention when we are out preaching. That tends to give the impression, to the crowd, and to the missionaries and preachers, that the response to the Message of the Cross is all negative. Sure, there are plenty of students and faculty on campuses and mothers and fathers at abortuaries who boast about their sin and are not ashamed of their wicked abominations. (Jeremiah 6:15;8:12) Gods messengers have always encountered these sorts of sinners. Brawlers and riotous revelers and proud and ignorant devilish religionists are to be expected. We know that among the least of these are people for whom Christ died. We trust that the Word of God will accomplish the purposes of God by the Spirit of God, for the glory of Christ. We lift up Jesus, Who promised: If I be lifted up I will draw all men to Myself (John 12:32). We go to seek and save the lost, in the Name of the Savior of sinners. But, we also pray for and go to, the saints who live as Gods vessels amongst the perishing. We go to encourage and equip them to evangelize. We go to bless them! Most Christians are unable to verbalize the way of salvation. Their lives are built around church activities. They are not going out to the lost people, who hate the Lord Jesus and His true followers. The rubber really meets the road when followers of Christ fish for men, as sheep among wolves. I thank God for the faithful believers who live as light and salt in this wicked and perverse generation. We are always humbled and honored to speak with them, answering their good questions and encouraging them to live godly lives and to be bold with the gospel of life and eternity.
