Often, parents ask me how I managed to get a strong-willed child to eat the foods that are best for her body and brain, instead of supposed kid favorites as pizza, soda and juice. The answer is simple: We dont keep junk food in our house and weve taught Chloe, to make healthy decisions for herself by helping her understand how various foods would affect her body and how shed feel after eating them. Educating our youth about healthy brain habits should be a priority.
