In fact, most people on planet earth believe in an afterlife. It’s not because they are all going to the same conferences or reading the same books. People from around the globe, speaking different languages and worshipping different gods have independently come to this same conclusion: Life on this earth is just the beginning. If you are a student of the Bible, this should come as no surprise. Ecclesiastes 3:11 tells us why, “[God] has also set eternity in the heart of man.” From the moment you were created, you had an awareness that there was something more; something greater. Although we differ on many things, humanity has an amazingly similar human experience. The Bible illustrates the power of our intuition. We were made for more.
