Often times, when photographing a wedding, each and every time is a LEARNING experience. Today proved that in so many ways, I learned 5 things that I wanted to share with all of you. 1. The WEATHER is UNPREDICTABLE! You honestly never know when it is going to start raining; HOWEVER, EVERYTHING seems to fall right into place – the WEDDING MUST GO ON! 2. When exiting a HUGE SUV that does NOT have sidesteps ALWAYS throw your legs out first, NEVER try to touch the ground with your first leg, because chances are, you will ALMOST become a HUMAN wish bone and the groom’s father will think it is HYSTERICALLY FUNNY – even though you go sailing out like a monkey, gripping the bars! Ha! Ha! 3. When photographing a wedding from the FRONT make sure that you do NOT step back too far, ESPECIALLY when there is a CREEK behind you, you MAY risk falling in! THEN the Groom’s Parents and Grandparents ALONG with the Bride’s Parents and Grandparents – they too will find it just as funny as I did! Luckily, I did NOT go down! But I SURE did get some GREAT shots! 4. The Country Market and Café at Whites will have some AWESOME Bar-B-Que along with ALL the trimmings this next week! Be sure to pay them a visit and let them know I sent you! 5. Last, BUT certainly NOT least, the LOVE of TWO people who unite together as one is one of the WORLD’S GREATEST BLESSINGS! Words simply could NOT describe the LOVE that they have for each other and it was inevitably clear when the Bride was saying her vows. As the tears streamed down her face with each word, you could honestly FEEL the love and commitment between the two. It was truly a moment like no other! Pictures to come a little later.... :)
