Often we wonder how we end up where we are in our lives. Yet, many times you cant remember the many roads or the myriad of paths and awkward detours. Still it never dawns on us, in that moment that even in the imperfect and seemingly lost moments; God still has a perfect plan and knows the direction and purposed destination. I confess: I HAVE BEEN IN A MORBID, DRY place since my brothers death. All I know is to pray, seek God and deal with life as it tosses and torments, bends and breaks, destructs and destroys; simultaneously. In the midst of all, my sinful nature is a bellowing beast, in which I MUST GO TO BATTLE WITH AND SLAUGHTER DAILY. Some days I win; others I am defeated. Yet, every morning that God grants me, I live to fight another day! The enemy laughs and cackles as he thinks hes won. Then, I hear my brother say: Kassie, now AT THE END OF THE DAY, you possess a finite truth that the enemy fears more than anything. He knows your weaknesses, but you know his END! I am thankful because even in my times of SEARCH & SEIZURE of myself God NEVER FAILS to speak to me...for this helps me remember my past is continually moving behind me, as my future continually draws me closer!
