Often what God calls you to do will make you different from everyone else. No matter what others do, you will have to choose to take a stand to accomplish the big things God has planned for you. God may call you not to do something that everyone else thinks is OK. But you have to listen to what God’s Holy Spirit is telling you inside. Just because God has called you to take a stand for something doesn’t mean you have to get upset with others for not taking the same stand. God calls people to do big things in all different ways. Let God be as original and creative with others as He is with you. Once you feel that call from God in your heart to do something hard for Him, you will have to do it no matter what anyone else thinks. You will have to trust God to take care of the outcome. This famous story shows three young men making this decision even when it might cost them their lives!
