Often when I am reading about personality traits I encounter I go to the Bible and always find scriptures that provide answers. Recently I did a study about Narcissistic Behaviors, and a moment ago found that I have nine pages of notes. One of the more troubling traits is the “Professional Victim.” The person who is always complaining about the bad things in their lives, and they don’t feel a sense of responsibility for anything. Around those who will listen they dramatically present themselves as victims; then like a switch was flipped they become the victimizers and they’ll leave those, who want to help, with a total sense of utter frustration. The Professional Victim demonstrates “passive aggressive characteristics around others. It’s as well a behavior that is totally self defeating. Long story short, we all know people like this and the sad part is they likely aren’t going to change. Just something to ponder today.
