Oftentimes, we put on an inferiority infringing pair of glasses and then we look down on ourselves through them. Believe me guys, we have all done this at one time or the other. We have all feared to talk in the midst of mates just because we believe that nonsense is the only thing that can come out of our mouth. We fail to show the world what we can do--sing, write, speak, draw, lead et al--just because we believe that our services can never be significant to the world. We keep quite. We fold our arms. We sit still. We hang our guiters. We set our pen on ground. We look down on ourselves. Why have we forgotten that we are potential professionals--that we only need to act, putting the fear aside, putting what people may say aside and we will eventually find ourselves where we are meant to be (at the top)? While in our group study, a very good friend of mine was asked to write down what she understood about why, although Ethanol and Propane have closely related molecular weight, Propane is gas and Ethanol is liquid at room temperature. She wrote something, but she was somehow reluctant in reading out what she wrote--she believed she had written nonsense. But by the time we checked her work we found out that what she wrote was partly correct, whereas others in the group were totally wrong! You see, I believe if she only had confidence in herself she would have been totally correct, but lack of confidence wont let her. I do not believe that confidence is the only thing there is to achieving a desired feat but I believe that without it there is no hope for success. So let us (oh yes! I am very much, so very much included) all sum up courage, and if you are already the courageous type, let us sum up more courage, as we strive to reach the desired goal that is before us.
