Oga Pius , Ive just read Prof Wole Soyinkas article and Im not surprised . People like Profesor Soyinka always does the expected because society has placed a demand on them to behave in a certain manner. So, for him its a moral obligation which he must meet. As a Jonathan supporter, I had publicly condemned the brainless hashtag even before the President himself found out about it and finally condemned it. So it stands condemned and as a follow up, the President had instructed that groups supporting him should henceforth be scrutinized by Prof Alkali. But now that Prof Soyika has subtly endorsed what Dr. Davis said then its a go ahead for President Jonathan to start arresting political leaders of the APC. Dr. Davis clearly stated that members of the opposition were sponsoring the terrorists in other to make the President seem weak( I hope you didnt edit your own version of the interview sir). Even Modu Sherrif was not only a BOT member of the APC, but one of the founding members. Did he begin his sponsorship last month when he joined the PDP? Personally I think what Dr. Davis knows about Modu Sherrrif is public knowledge and Ive written about his culpability in providing the take off grant for the insurgents. Its just the same way some ex governors from the south south gave birth to the militants who finally haunted them away from the region . Before Dr. Davis came with his interview , the SSS had invited Modu Sherrif twice. Personally I also think that a Modu Sherrif is a liability to the PDP. He carries a lot of baggages and I wonder why he allowed his personal quarrel with Bola Tinubu to bring lead him running back to PDP. He should be prosecuted as fast as possible even though it will not end the insurgency cos the terrorists also wants him dead. Remember I said there was some trace of 419 in the whole issue. Its possible that Dr. Davis is sincerely wrong. I remember when an American Judy Asuni met fake MEND commanders in the Niger Delta and was making a video until they were arrested in 2007. Its possible Dr. Davis met a few fraudsters who conned him into thinking they were Boko Haram commanders and he genuinely believed them. But look at that picture he took with them. Do you genuinely think those people are Fundamentalist terrorist fighting to establish a Sharia caliphate? They looked like they just stepped out from a beauty parlor . Another red flag is the video sent to CBS news by Dr. Davis. Isnt it clear to you that the video is fake ? Check Dr. Davis interview on CBS and watch the video.The scene is clearly not in this country and the soldiers are not Nigerians. But it was tagged as Nigerian soldiers battling insurgents . And Ive even noticed that some people have been sharing the video on social media, actually believing it featured our soldiers . I love the way Professor Soyinka brilliantly dodged the Ihejirika angle. Thats why he is a Nobel Laureate. But he also exonerated Dr. Davis incase he made any mistake in dragging in Ihejirika. According to him ( Prof) he had his own theory of how Dr. Davis must have come up with that allegation .But he never told us the theory .A little to the left and a little to the right I presume . The APC actually have a dynamic propaganda machinery, which is why it has put the PDP on the defensive just because Modu Sherrif declared for the PDP last month, while the insurgency has been going on for almost four years now. But the question I keep asking is this , why did Boko Haram decide to expose their sponsors? That must be a bunch of patriotic Boko Haram members. Thank you sir .
