Ogun Politics! Osoba Faction of APC, Matagbamole Group, Petitions DSS; Threat to our lives. “For more clarification and identification of personalities who are named on the list, we do hereby, with due respect, re-listed the names with their identities- Senator Gbenga Kaka representing Ogun East senatorial district; Senator Gbenga Obadara, representing Ogun Central senatorial district; Hon Remmy Hassan, member of the state House of Assembly representing Odogbolu state constituency among others. Since we received this deadly information, many of us have been sleeping with friends outside our area as a result of threat to our lives. More so, we have been noticing unfamiliar faces around us and in our streets which has given many of us sleepless nights. This is a follow up to our letter of complaint lodged with your office on August 11 on the attack of Osoba at his house in Ibara, Abeokuta and that of his associates. The Matagbamole group again, is writing to lodge another complaint against those who we believe are using their position of authority in the state to perpetrate unwholesome acts towards members of the above named group and activities which to the best of our opinion, have been affecting our integrity and reputations within the society and at the same time which have reached a level that is threatening our lives as citizens of this state, our family members as well as the people surround us. There is no doubt as your office could notice and attest to from our group activities and behaviours, that we are law abiding and peace loving people as individuals and as a group. It is on this note that we are very much interested in keeping your office abreast regularly on what we believe could be of danger toward peaceful co-existence of political parties especially the political situation in our state.”- Chief Olu Agemo, Chairman of the faction.
