Ogun Youth Endorse Amosun For Second Term The General Assembly of a youth- based socio- cultural group , Ogun Youth Forum, (OYF) with tentacles across the twenty local government areas of the state has endorsed the candidacy of the Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun for a second term of office . The group at the end of its inaugural Annual General Meeting and end of the year get-together held at the multipurpose hall of the Abeokuta North Local Government secretariat rose in unison to unanimously announce their support for the second term bid of the Governor. The General Assembly of OYF led by its Chairman, Mr. Afolabi Orekoya and members of its Elders Council attributed their action to the admiration and acceptance of Senator Ibikunle Amosuns style of leadership evidence in the unprecedented positive transformation of the state across all strata. It contends that an administration that recorded impressive and overwhelming performance in a short while , if given another shot at leadership will not only perfect its giant strides earlier initiated , but is capable of instituting more far-reaching changes for continued progress of the state. At the occasion where the identity of the group including its logo, T- Shirt and fez cap was unveiled ,it was further revealed that a one Million Man March to mobilise and canvass support for the second term bid of Senator Ibikunle Amosun is to be staged soon. To actualise this desire ,the inauguration of a steering committee for the design and execution of the special project was also held with Hon David Adedapo as Chairman , while Mrs . Ogunsola Folake is to serve as Secretary. Ogun Youth Forum is a constituent of professional youth cutting across the twenty local government areas of the state with the aim of supporting and promoting positive societal values, as well as enhancing welfare of members through empowerment.
