Ogun Youth Group Rallies Support for GEJ and GNI. Thousands of Ogun state Youth yesterday began an intensive joint campaign for re-election of President GEJ as well as the election of GNI as next Governor of Ogun state under the platform of PDP. The Union report that the inauguration of the pressure group known as GEJ/GNI Youth Movement, took place at Kings Hall, Ibara, Abeokuta, the Ogun state Capital. The membership spread across all the 236 wards in the state with objectives of ensuring the victory of GEJ and GNI at the polls. Addressing newsmen at the venue the State Convener of the Movement, Comrade Fatai Adesegun emphasized that the body was created for the re-election of Jonathan and election of Gboyega Nasir Isiaka as the next Governor of Ogun state. According to him, the group will have 11-man committee at state level, 182 officials representing all the 26 state constituencies and 1652 coordinating the existing 236wards. The Group, Adesegun, said will orientate the youths to vote massively for GEJ and Guber Candidate of the PDP in the state. Also speaking, a notable leader of the group Arch, Kola Ogunleye noted that any government that neglect its youths is deem to fail and collapse, stressing that youths in the country have all qualities to be major stakeholders in governance. Ogunleye called on the youths not to sit on the fence, towards nation growth, pointing out that its high time the youth rally round both Jonathan and Isiaka to win election respectively. However, the party guber flag bearer, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka,said he would not disappoint the youths if voted into power, adding that, I want to assure you, we shall make the youths proud. While appreciating the Group for considering working for him(GNI) and Jonathan, the party governorship candidate assured that the youth efforts will not go in vain, after the election.
