Ogunlewe, Obanikoros Son Won at the PDP Primaries. By Vox Populi News. The son of the former minister for works, Seye Ogunlewe and that of the immediate past minister of state for defence and governorship aspirant, Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro, both won the state House of Assembly primaries in the just concluded primaries conducted by the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, across the federation yesterday. Ogunlewes son, Moyosore, clinches Kosofe constituency ticket with 15 votes as Obanikoro s son Ibrahim Babajide, also won in his constituency in Eti-Osa. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoros victory in the just concluded primaries will make it a trio vying for electoral offices within the family as rumour making round have it that Ibrahims younger brother, Gbolahan, is also eying the chairmanship seat of yet undisclosed local government. This development has generated heated controversy withing the party as some members claimed that despite the humongous benefits that has been accrued by Obanikoro during his short stay in the PDP, the former minister should have supported some other credible aspirant in clinching the governorship ticket, instead, he embark on sponsoring his children for different political offices.-Vox Populi News.
