Oh Boy…. This is Conrad. He was a stray brought to Animal Care & Control on 9/16. Conrad has burns (possibly cigarette) covering his head/face/body, his legs are bowed due to him being kept for extensive periods of time in a crate that was too small, and he is battling a terrible case of pneumonia. He is currently in the ICU on fluids and antibiotics, and will be meeting with an Orthopedic Surgeon on Monday to evaluate what, if anything, can be done to repair his legs. He’s had a terrible life of abuse and pain up to this point, but we are optimistic that we can get him healthy, comfortable and ready for an amazing future with a new family. Without your support through Willows Fund, we would not have been able to take this boy and provide him with everything he needs to have a happy, healthy, love-filled life. Meeting Conrad only strengthened our belief that every animal must know what love, compassion and kindness feels like. To have him suffer this level of abuse and not get the opportunity to have a second chance at life and love would have been entirely too tragic for us to handle. We’re thrilled he is now a member of the F&C family and promise to do our very best to right all of the wrong that was done to him.
