Oh, CARP! Heres the sermon was supposed to go with the Journey youtube... And the Church of Jeebus Carp, Spawn of Cod and the Wholly Mackeral, Son of Parthenogenic Mary, Most Wholly Redeemer of Mary Remoralane (a shark sucker of ill repute) is now in session, Father Theresa officiating... Today I will read to you of the story of Daniel, a Wholly Fish, a Righteous fish before Cod, a Prophet of the one true Lord. Daniel, a Jewfish, was captured when young along with friends by a school of Batfish with a powerful leader. Once it became known that Daniel was a Prophet, and that his prophecies were true, he became a prophet for many kings of the batfish, not to serve them, but to serve God. One such king, who liked and respected Daniel, was tricked into passing a law, condemning anyone praying for 30 days to death. The kings courtiers were aware that Daniel would pray to his Cod three times a day regardless and they wanted him dead. And so, Daniel was found in prayer and tossed into the lionfish tank. Daniel, unafraid, knelt in prayer as the lionfish gathered near. Lionfish were fierce, poisonous predators with long spines, and huge mouths and big teeth, insatiable appetites. But as Daniel knelt praying to Cod, all he heard was a slight whispering sound. To his amazement, as he opened his eyes and turned, all the lionfish were knelt in prayer, similar to Daniel, spines folded, pectorals clasped, heads bowed in respect, lips barely moving. Sir lionfish, Daniel whispered to the closest lionfish..they all paused and looked at Daniel.I am praying to Cod the Father, and it appears that you are as well. Yes, said the nearest lionfish. We are followers of our Father, Cod. Tell me, what are you praying for, Jewfish? Daniel answered, I was praying to my Father that I live through this night, for His Glory! And tell me, lionfish, what are YOU praying for? Oh, we never start a meal without saying grace... These are the true word of Cod the Father and the Wholly Ghostfish from the Book, the True Word of Cod- Your New Fish 1959, written by Dr Herbert Axelrod, icxthyologist, Fawcett Publications, Chapter Seven: Choosing Appropriate Tankmates, Paragraph 11, Lines 16-33.
