Oh Dear someone on Montpelier still deleting perfectly polite posts put up and not messaging with a satisfactory explanation. Standard procedure for moderators is to message whoever has posted something and ask them to take it down. If the message is very offensive ( as Im sure mine was not) admins usually take it down and immediatly write and explain to whoever posted. Since my original message was a polite discussion about Gallifords and bread at Herberts, I find it hard to understand why the post was removed, or my subsequent posts about the (now) 3 deletions. Also they could write to those others, Cloth Burgers and Jane Day as to why their comments were deleted.
