Oh Deb, one day some man will come into your life and sweep you - TopicsExpress

Oh Deb, one day some man will come into your life and sweep you off your feet. I would like to take a moment to share my life with you. I often wonder if the reason people scoff at the idea of obeying the Gospel is because of the misconception of living a Christian life. In reality my life is much like yours. I work to pay my bills but I am able to thank my Creator for my health and privilege of success. (bills paid in full is success) I enjoy my family and friends but I am able pray for their health and blessings. I have lazy time but I am able to thank my Lord for the peace and quiet to catch my breath. I struggle with my tongue and temper but I have a forgiving Master that will chastise my error yet hold me firmly in the palm of His hand. I have forgiveness. I am able to let go of the guilt because I can make my wrongs right and the blood of my precious Savior washes me clean before my God. When my head hits the pillow tonight I will not be in fear no more tomorrows. I anticipate my eternity with great fervor! And, by the way, the only Man that I want to sweep me off my feet will come through the clouds with the great shout of a trumpet and all of us will kneel before Him. I fall down, I fail. I struggle, I err. I get up, I succeed. I triumph, I obey. I am a work in progress and I am far from perfect. I am loved. I am forgiven. I am fearless. And I love you! Christianity is not to be resisted it is much too liberating. Am I saying that Christianity is the answer to your every problem, need, fear, or desire? Well yes. Yes I am.
