Oh Father, our world is hurting and people are longing to be loved. We need You. Jesus, you said that when you left the disciples 2000 years ago, that youd send us The Helper - God the Spirit - who can indwell and bring Life and Hope, Peace and Love to everyone all at once. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. - 2 Timothy 1:7 AMP Holy Spirit, Spirit of God, Good Spirit who infuses power to overcome evil with good... we need You now in this world. We invite You and we welcome You. Please come and clean up the mess weve made. Calm hearts and speak Peace to hearts all over America and all over the world. Draw our eyes and our hearts upward that we - as humankind - would all seek You again. Forgive us for how weve strayed and thought we could do it without You. We need You. We welcome You to come... do what only You can do! We want to see you do miracles like you did for Moses and the millions of Israelites who walked across the bottom of the Red Sea while you held the waves up on the left and right! We know You are the same God and can do the same kind of powerful miracles today! Please hear us, answer our prayers, and come to our rescue.
