Oh HAPPY DAYZ for our wonderful Winnie!!! An amazing transporter, Scott Cook, delivered Miss Winnie to her new foster home in North GA to an extraordinary family - The Meles. There are not enough words to say thank you to each of them.....thanks to them, Winnie is spending her first night out of boarding (and before that off the streets!) in a warm, loving, patient, kind home! Winnie adores her canine brother and her very awesome big back yard! She is learning about steps (and shes a fast learner!) and LOVES her purple hippopotamus toy that Two Tailz sent with her to her new foster family! Winnie is proving to be the perfect little lady. What a true joy to see Winnie playing in a big back yard and being adored by her new foster family! We are so thankful to each of you who shared Winnies desperate plea to get out of boarding. Winnies Story: We rescued Winnie from a hospital parking lot in GA in the bitter cold. No collar, no tag, no microchip. We tried to see if her owners were missing her, but then, through talking to several people, it was clear Winnie had been dumped and trying to survive on her own for a few weeks. She would have never survived that single digit, cold night. Winnie is still in need of a permanent, furever home. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in adopting sweet Winnie. In the meantime.....thank you again Scott Cook, the Mele family, Judy Townsend, and all of you who shared Winnies story which helped get Winnie on her way to a new LEASH ON LIFE!
