Oh, I almost forgot to post Tool #3 (of 4) for having a powerful social learning classroom for young children, but first, a review: Let your students/children know that here is the most effective way to get what they want: use these tools. #1 - If you want something or want something to happen, ask someone who can do something about it. #2 - If someone asks you something, answer them. What your answer is, is up to you. And so is everyone elses answer when you ask them for something. Now #3 - Treat each other with respect. #4 coming soon! Your first reaction might well be, how can this work?, or, does this mean they will get whatever they want? It works beautifully when you use these tools with them before resorting to your Hidden Behavioral Manual. What Hidden Manual? The one that was uploaded into your brain when you were young. ;)
