~Oh LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name throughout the earth! Your glory is sung above the heavens. From the mouths of little children and infants, you have built a fortress against your opponents to silence the enemy and the avenger. (Psalm 8:1-2, GNT) ~The earth is filled with His glory. As I take the time to look at all the beauty around me, I think of the billions of stars You hung in the sky and named, one-by-one. I marvel at the vastness of this universe and I feel like a vapor in comparison to Your creation. Im stunned that you would even bother with me. I can’t help but wonder why You care about mortals. Who am I? Who are we?~ ~Why would the Lord pause to consider us, mere, puny man? Human frailty? We came from a drop of sperm and end up a speck of dust. But heres the clincher: He loves us. He pursues us passionately to have a close-knit relationship with us. He created us for His pleasure. He created everything for His delight. We cant discover who we truly are until we find ourselves in Him. We are the created, He is the Creator. He shaped our hearts and nothing will fully satisfy until we come to the end of ourselves and see Him for who He truly is. There is no one and nothing on this earth or in this life that can fill that void in our hearts. Thats how he designed it and us. Almighty, glorious, majestic King! His glory inspires all of creation to praise Him. “For you shall go out with joy, And be led out with peace; The mountains and the hills Shall break forth into singing before you, And all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
