Oh Lord, I know some of them are to long, but thats the human side of things you let us live and learn from these mistakes so that we can be prepared for you, but also so we can be there when another needs the touch or the talk that carries your grace with it. Living my life as a younger person caused many a thought to lead toward What I needed, What I wanted, How I could attain something. The things life lessons brought along with them had much less meaning than they do now later in this life. I found ways to get what I wanted, they werent very nice ways sometimes in fact they were terribl but at the time I never even really thought about them. Life slowly showed me a little different path, I found and married someone to share things with and things began to change as thoughts turned to better things. Yet old haunts were always there as reminders as well. Through those first years of learning and living those lessons, it took an accident that took a soul wrenching toll on my life and dealing with Death had been a part of my life on several occasions but dealiing with watching those last breaths and then the funeral of a brother, loved but lost before foregiveness could be shared broke this old rock that had become a wall around my heart. Even that experience took much time to understand and the right lessons or really good ones often do. I felt the touch of God through the hand on my shoulder of a cousin who understood the pain. Then throughout the years I was blessed with the chance to learn from many lessons and both watching and being a part of other people dealing with their heartaches and difficult times. Yes I do still learn and hopefully will learn and be able to share those lessons on occassion with someone else in need. The understanding sometimes comes after relating it to other experiences but it is there and then I remember I need to use that lesson to help someone else with theirs. God blesses us all with a chance to teach or a chance to understand and most of all a chance to change and cruble those rock walls into little bits of dust that can be shared with a world that sometimes becomes much to much involved with itself. Thank You God for everyone of these opportunities and the chance to wonder about it all.
