Oh, Lord! My drive way is a gargantuan glacier from the top of the hill to the bottom, and I couldnt get my vehicle to make the climb tonight. So, here Lexi and I go, at 9:00 p. m., freezing cold, dark--- arms loaded with our goodies--- hoofing it up the driveway, abandoning the Journey after it lost traction and slid backwards towards the highway! (I had to steer backward into the hillside to keep from sliding into the road!) needless to say, it was something reminiscent of Holiday on Ice (gone bad), as I fell several times! I just couldnt get my bearings, the ice was so slick! We finally managed to make it to the outer edge of the driveway, where there is only snow- no ice- and walked up the driveway. I woke Gary up (hes on midnights) and had him to rescue my car- he did!! Think Ill be shopping around for a team of sled dogs tomorrow!
